A lady from DC told me about this mythical wine (okay, not mythical, but at least magical) that contained nine different varietals in it, so on my next stop to the wine shop, I procured two bottles of it.

First off, the wine is very aromatic, and the taste the most wonderful combination of a blended wine that I have ever had. While it doesn't surpass Conundrum in strength, it does in all of it's nuances and demureness. I can't say that one grape necessarily outshines any of the others, but it is almost the perfect combination of nine different personalities. I can't say whether or not there is currently some arcane competition to see who can blend the most grapes perfectly, like stuffing so many people into a Beetle or a phone booth, but this is clearly the leader and defacto winner.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
